Will,
I could not agree with you more!!!
.
okay for those of us that actually watched the final episode last night (and are willing to admit it): what would you have done if you were the girl and he told you he had "chosen" you.......but then you found out that he lied and didn't have any $$$......would you still wanna see him?.
and guys, would you ever consider trying something like this?.

I didn't even watch the show. Programs like these disgust me! I would never go for a guy just because he was loaded. He would definintely have to be responsible and be making a decent living, but not a millionaire. Of course being well established in society would play an important part in my getting envolved with a man, but I would not look at the monetary value. I wouldn't make it a priority.
A man is worth much more for the person that he is in his heart, and not what he has in the bank. How sad that there are women that would do anything just to get a man in their life with some money tied to his name.
just another thing to think about....
you think a gallon of gas is expensive?
doesn't run on water, scope, or whiteout, or god forbid, pepto bismol or .
Just another thing to think about....
You Think A Gallon Of Gas Is Expensive? Makes one think, and puts things in
perspective.
Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ......... $10.32 per gallon
Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 ....... $ 9.52 per gallon
Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 ............. $10.17 per gallon
Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 ......... $10.00 per gallon
Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 ........... $33.60 per gallon
Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 ......... $178.13 per gallon
Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 .......... $123.20 per gallon
Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ............... $25.42 per gallon
Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 ................. $84.48 per gallon
this is the REAL KICKER......
Evian water 9 oz for $1.49 ........$21.19 per gallon.
$21.19 FOR WATER! ....
But then again EVIAN spelled backwards is naive.
So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car
doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout, or God forbid, PEPTO BISMOL or
NYQUIL!!!!
Just a little humor to help ease the pain of your next
trip to the pump...
Awwww....how special!!
It would be so nice to have someone to send this to.....

ok, there's this (supposedly married but sometimes that doesn't mean much)guy at work that the girls are sooo into, they just fall at his feet.
and yes, he is very good looking, one in a thousand maybe.
you should have seen the way they did up his work area for his birthday today.
Woman may also feel attracted to the opposite sex, even if she is married. Hey, we're not dead!! Whether she will act on it depends how much she values her relationship, and of course her morals.
It seems to me that men are more accepting of other men having extra curicular activities outside of marriage or a serious relationship. They claim that this is natural and it's just survival of the fittest. I'm curious....how many men here would like their ladies to have a little "extra curicular" activity going on on the side?
i was just wondering if any of you have had any experience with seeing an angel or experiencing some kind of guardian angel type thing?
personally i had an experience as a little girl, seeing an angel in my room, but it was probably a dream, a reoccuring dream and the angel always looked the same.
in my adult life , being jw , i never had any experiences.
Although I have never experienced anything too unordinary, I do believe we have guardian angels/spirit guides that watch over us. Too many times when I have had difficult and sad times, I have prayed (not to Jah, but to a higher source) with all my heart and I have felt a sudden peace come over me. I really felt that something was with me and sending me love and understanding. I especially felt this during the time I started to fade away from the Org. This helped convince me that I was loved, even though the Elders told me God would leave me. I have always felt as if something/someone is watching over me.
My mother has also had experiences when she was a child, and now as an non-active JW. Her stories send chivers down my spine. She will admit that she believes in angels and guides, even though the Elders wouldn't want her talking about her experiences. She too feels their presence.
Because I was basically raised as a JW and taught that almost everthing is demonized, I have found it hard to come to terms with these feelings, but I know they are real within me. That's all I could go by for now....just my gut feeling.
so many people start working young in life, and expect to retire around 58 years old.
some even retire much before that.
but so many witnesses never expected to reach that age in this system.
I work for the government and I have PERS, so I hope to retire when I'm 55.

did you find that people , either in the congregation, or in general always tended to try to tell you what you should be doing?
were you always given counsel by the brothers or sisters to "help' you?
how did you react when certain ones were always ready to tell you what you should do?
HI vivian!
I hope to see at the next meet-up too!

People will sue for anything!! That's right...they shouldn't even be eating there!! That wife is slowly killing her own husband off by contributing to his eating that junk.

I listened and I was nice about it. I just smiled and acknowleged at what they were saying. But, I am confident about what I choose to do...I have a strong will. I listen, but that didn't mean I am going to follow everybody's advise. I like to feel I made my own choices, and am living my own life. If I could use their advise, fine. If not, no problem.
